A First Look- Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End

by Jen on March 22, 2007

-Directed by: Gore Verbinski

Starring:
-Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley

One of the best things about modern movie making is the ability to make multiple films at the same time. Peter Jackson did it for the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and now Gore Verbinski has followed suit with the third movie in the Pirates’ series.

Why studios do this is pretty simple really. It saves money, time and it allows all parties involved to keep up with the flow of the storylines and characters. It also allows the special effects wizards to have all the raw film at once so they can work their special sort of magic on it. This means you’ll get a more seamless sort of polish to the art and you’re drawn more effectively in the story.

Jump right back into the action as Will, Elizabeth and company go to literally the ends of the earth to find Jack. This time though, there’s a whole new element. More pirates! (Yay!) Add to it the amazing special effects and Depp’s entertaining performance as Captain Jack and you have the perfect summer film.

Pirates 3 was the most disappointing movie i have ever seen. Everything that i didnt want to happen in the movie happend. There were too many twists and turns in the plot that made sence, but made the movie really boring to watch. There was also a lot of perverted humor in the movie too. If you like pirates 3 then you must have never watched a movie before.

I loved the movie’s plot, but there was a LOT of violence. I couldn’t believe how many people died in that movie!
