Tungsten CTR Rings?
So have you heard of rings made of tungsten? Tungsten wedding bands are a new trend because tungsten is so durable. They're known as "permanently polished" rings because tungsten rings will hold their shine (as well as shape) longer than any other ring on the market due to tungsten's extreme hardness- almost as hard as diamond. Now they're making tungsten CTR rings- and I recently got one. (CTR stands for "Choose the Right" among Mormons.) The CTR logo is laser engraved right onto the ring. Now I already own a CTR ring made of sterling silver that I've had for many years, but it always looks tarnished and dingy (and I don't have the time to polish it) so I never wear it. The tungsten rings are much cheaper than gold and only cost slightly more than sterling silver.
When I received my tungsten CTR ring in the mail I was surprised how solid and heavy it was. It feels very smooth so it doesn't bother my finger. It's polished and shiny... and it's nice to know it will stay that way (considering my 14K Gold wedding ring is already scratched up and some of it's raised designs have worn off).
The CTR ring I got was from Tungsten CTR Rings where they have several ring styles to choose from. Every order gets free shipping, and if you order by March 7th 2010 they're offering $5.00 off your order- just use the coupon code "jenmagazine".
